
The new Corona League was officially Launched on
Thursday June 18th 2009.

The league will be run by an Executive Board of
5 including a President, Vice-President, and
Treasurer.
All major decisions concerning the league and
its format will be brought in front of the full
membership of the league. With each team having
a vote.
Players will register with the league and be
issued with registration cards
The league will include the Bistro Challenge Cup
competition that will include all teams within

The league will have the Docksiders All Star
Game at the end of the season made up of the
star players of the season from all teams.

We have been in touch with the BRA and they are
keen to officiate the league.
An age limit of over 23years will apply to all
new players but any player that has registration
with the old Commercial league will be allowed
to play by Grandfather Law.
A code of ethics is to be finalised and all
players will sign and have to abide by it.
Players cannot play for both a BFA team and a
Corona League team. A player that has played for
the Corona League can move into the BFA frame
work at anytime but then cannot return to the
Corona league that season.
11 teams are currently confirmed but the league
will be set up for 12 to allow for any extra
teams as we have several team looking to join
the league.
The games are to be played Friday 6pm and 8pm
Saturday 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm
Transfer windows will be opened for players that
have not played for a team that they were
earlier registered to. Transfer windows will
coincide with BFA windows
The league Christmas break will be from Sunday
20th Dec- Thursday 7th Jan
The league will have:
a Disciplinary committee headed by Gary
a fundraising committee headed by Manny and
Danny Faria
an Admin committee headed Brian Ward
To ensure that the league runs efficiently and
maintains the standards of enjoyment.
