The Corona League’s best players were on
display during the Docksider All Star
Match
BAA’s Adam Shaw gave the White
All-StarsBlue All-Star goalkeeper
Troy Hall from some 25 yards out,
the Blue All-Stars leveled the
score at 1 – 1 when Vasco’s Rui
Furtado scored, minutes later the
Blue All-Stars took the lead,
through an own goal, before Furtado
made it 3 – 1 just before the half.
Early in the second half, Valley’s
Peter Sampson and Lock N Key’s
Quinton Basden gave the Blue
All-Stars a 5 – 1 lead. The White
All-Star coach Manny Faria
then made a formation change and they
responded with three unanswered goals,
Shaw scored again, while the
League’s top goalscorer Lamaul
Crofton from Tuff Dogs added
two to pull within one goal.
The White All-Stars were
presented the opportunity to send the
game to penalty kick when in injury time
they were awarded a penalty, however
Tuff Dogs player aaron Browne
missed the spot kick thus handing the
Blue All-Stars the 5 – 4 win.
Following the match the end of season
awards were held at Docksiders.

selected by their manager to be
represented in the All-Star game.
- The managers from the 1st and 2nd
place teams will be managing one team in
the All-Star game
- The top four keepers from the best
defensive team will be represented.
- Each Manager will have a managers pick
to round off the 14 team squad.
- the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th and 11th
place teams will play against the 2nd,
4th, 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th place teams
representatives.
